He developed a progressive and varied training plan that focussed on working the right muscle groups and building up my strength and conditioning to make sure I could get back into exercise without getting injured. "I wanted to gain weight and muscle but had no idea where to start. I like having plans and structure to follow but had low confidence in the gym and didn't know what exercises work best for muscle gain in general. Brani put detailed workout plans together, went through each of the exercises in detail and made sure I had correct form. I enjoyed working with Brani as he pushed me till we discovered my limits were and continuously adjusted the plan accordingly. Over 6 months of training training I became a lot more confident and comfortable at the gym, managed to put on some weight and noticed quite a difference in muscle definition. I wanted to increase my strength although it was by no means my primary focus, but I would say my biggest achievement by the end of my training with Brani was that I was able to lift up to 1.7x my body weight for certain exercises. After just one session with Brani, I knew that he would be an excellent personal trainer. He was immediately friendly, professional, knowledgable and interested to find out more about me and my goals. Although I have had other personal trainers before and know my way around the gym, I had got out of the habit of pushing myself and my progress had started to stagnate. However, with Brani’s training and support, I am now fitter than ever before. Not only has Brani carefully planned the sessions to enable my progress, but he has also spent time carefully designing a weekly programme which ensures I’m working hard and smart each week. Since training with Brani, my overall fitness has improved; I have lost fat, gained muscle and I am lifting heavier weights and setting new personal bests both in the gym and with my running.

Brani is a great listener. He focuses on your needs and tailors each session to any specific target that you might have. However, he has a very clear overall strategy in mind for you and introduces and builds upon exercises in a targeted way that helps you work towards your overall goal. He is honest and very personable and concisely communicates each exercise to you, explaining what muscles you are working on and how. He also teaches you about nutrition. Above all we have a laugh and he keeps me motivated.
